In total, biobanks reported 109 national grants amounting to \u20ac8,661,780.56, together with 8 European grants for \u20ac382,768.01.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the network secured \u20ac9,044,548.57 through national and European funding streams. This result highlights the strategic role of biobanks as research-enabling infrastructures, supporting academic and industry research.<\/p>\n<p>The funding landscape also confirms the importance of long-term investment in quality systems, data interoperability, FAIR data workflows and access services, all key priorities of the Strengthening BBMRI.it project.<\/p>",
