Events, workshops and training activities remain central to BBMRI.it’s mission of building a strong and connected biobanking community. In 2025, biobanks hosted 65 events involving 2,431 participants.
In parallel, the BBMRI.it Hub organised 6 events involving 676 participants, supporting knowledge exchange, capacity building and national coordination.
These activities contributed to raising awareness of quality management, FAIR data, access procedures, ELSI aspects, digital services and the added value of biobanks for patients, citizens and researchers. They also strengthened the visibility of BBMRI.it as a national infrastructure embedded in the wider European biobanking ecosystem.
