Access to high-quality data and biological samples remains one of the core missions of BBMRI.it. In 2025, 42 biobanks reported 299 requests for data and samples, including 205 classified as “project request”. In addition, 10 biobanks reported 27 requests for data only.
These figures show the increasing relevance of BBMRI.it resources for biomedical research and confirm the need for transparent, standardized and efficient access procedures across the national network.
